How to play Pair Up
- You're shown 10 word pairs to memorize (for example, MOON → FORK) for a few seconds.
- The pairs hide. Then you're shown one word from each pair and asked to pick its partner from the choices.
- Recall as many partners as you can.
Controls. During study, just read the pairs. During recall, tap the word you think was the partner.
Scoring
Score = pairs recalled correctly out of 10. Beat your best and build a streak. Everyone gets the same pairs each day.
Strategy tips
- Make a vivid, silly mental picture linking each pair — 'the MOON eating with a FORK' sticks far better than repeating the words.
- Group the pairs into a little story as you study.
- Don't just stare — actively test yourself in your head before the recall round.
