How to play Matrix
- Eight figures are shown in a 3×3 grid; the ninth is missing.
- One rule explains how the figures change across the rows and down the columns.
- Pick the option that the rule demands — five puzzles, each with a different kind of rule.
- Nothing to know beforehand — everything you need is in the grid itself.
Controls. Tap an option to answer and move on. Back and Skip let you revisit any puzzle before you submit.
Scoring
Score = how many of the five grids you complete correctly. Four or more counts as a win, and consecutive days build a streak.
How a solver cracks Matrix — the step-by-step method a plain program uses, worked through on a real puzzle.
Strategy tips
- Read one attribute at a time — shape, then how many, then the shading, then the angle. Most wrong answers get one attribute right and miss another.
- Read across a row first, then check the same rule works down a column.
- Predict the missing figure BEFORE looking at the options — the options are built to be plausible.
